Happy New Year everyone! I hope that all of you had a great 2011 and your 2012 will be fuitfull! I will be a busy little bee this year; starting out with writing and recording with Mad Margritt, we are using the first part of this year to get the new record ready as well as get some new promo shots. We have a few shows already on the books and waiting for confirmation on spring and summer dates.

In other news, my dvd, which is still yet to be titled, will start filming this month. I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Room 9 Music website will hopefully be up soon as well, working out some bugs with my hosting site but otherwise all is a go. I am accepting students so send me an email to lessons@room9music.com to schedule a time.

I am happy to say that all the new "fix ups" to the studio(Room 9 Music)are now complete. Check them out here... I look forward to meeting and teaching all my new students and helping with the future drummers. I hope to have the web site up in the next few months.

This month has turned out to be busier than expected. I have now gained sole use of a studio I previously shared with other musicians, and I am converting it into a space for teaching and recording. Room 9 Music is the name of the new studio. (to see how it is coming along click here) My intent is to gain more students and continue to expand my role as a private instructor as well as utilize the studio during non-lesson time as a rehersal room for Mad Margritt. I now also have a better ability ro record, the first session will be in the next few weeks putting live drums to tracks from my good friend Corey Stuart(see below). As it stands, this year is closing on a high note and I'm getting set up to start the 2012 with a bang! I'll be posting updates as often as needed and will have my first video lesson up in the next week....keep checking back and I'll see you at the show!

Hello everyone, I hope all of you had a great summer. I know I did. From the fantastic time in Sarasota, Florida at the Love Muscle Music Festival with 13,000 music fans, hanging out with Firehouse, and getting a small vacation to see the beautiful St. Augustine Light House, to finishing the summer up with an interesting couple of shows in St. George Island.

I had the great opportunity to meet the captains of the Time Bandit(from Dicovery Channel's Deadliest Catch). Capt. Andy Hillstrand and his brother Capt. Jonathon Hillstrand. They are great guys...I had a great time hanging out with them. Hope to see them again next year.

Mad Margritt will be writing and recording the new Perris Records release in January. So we will be taking some time off during that month. We will have a couple of shows, but over all will be focused on the new record.

Cool for August is no more. We disbanded the project a couple of months ago due to writing differences. Andrew(bass) and I are starting writing for a new project we put on the back burner, Southern Boogie Machine. This is going to be a slow mover to start but will be worth the wait. Keep your ears peeled....

In other news...I am slowly but surely getting the outline layed out for my clinic/DVD. I am also accepting private students, please shoot me an email if you are intrested.

I will be doing some callaborating with an old friend of mine as well, Corey Stuart. This should be a lot of fun. He is a DJ in New York and has a couple of songs that I am going to lay down some drum parts to. Should be interesting and a blast. Its always great to branch out into other music styles. Again, keep your ears peeled...
